A young family of three aimed to build a home where they could enjoy both the inside and outside of the charming village of Naarden Vesting. The primary objective was clear: to transform the unusable outdoor space. We completely revitalized the house by installing floor-to-ceiling windows and relocating the toilet from the patio area to the left wall of the property.
On the second floor, we repositioned the bathroom to create two bedrooms and provided access to the previously unusable attic. There, we designed a third bedroom with raised beams and an attached art studio.
Despite the challenges presented by the old house, we successfully updated the property to meet the needs of a modern family, making it a delightful and functional home.
