Keizersgracht

In this 85 m² apartment, the task was to design a space that felt fresh and contemporary, but never at the cost of the building itself and its natural beauty.

On the first floor, we introduced a custom staircase wrapped in cabinetry, creating both a sculptural focal point and a subtle division between kitchen and living. Everything was designed to feel seamless, nothing shouts, and at the same time, every element seems special.

The upper floor, though compact, gave us the chance to fully explore smart spatial solutions. Inspired by the design of luxury yachts, we crafted made-to-measure storage and surfaces that make the space feel quiet, functional, and rich in detail. Every inch was designed with intention, not just to fit, but to flow.

This project remains one of the most personal in my career. It reflects the balance I strive for in every design: respecting heritage while creating something livable, intuitive, and quietly luxurious.
