The key to this stunning project is a single design language and three distinct spaces. Our client approached us in 2022 with the idea of dividing the property in Noordwijk that he had just purchased.
We converted a single residence into a Studio Apartment in the garage, his apartment on the first floor, and two separate apartments on the second floor that could be used as B&Bs. We moved the building’s entrance and vertical circulation to accomplish this. We also redesigned the facade of the garage.
The client, a florist, wanted an open layout in his apartment. The bold wallpaper design, which also serves as a visual bridge between his home’s day and night areas, reflects his personal style. A singular space with a lot of personality and elegance is created by juxtaposing the bold wallpaper with the solemn custom wooden furniture.
We experimented with patterns using the same wood that was used for the rest of the property on the studio-garage facade.
